Katja Fuchs

My name is Katja Fuchs, I was born in Zurich and I have experience in teaching German for about seven years. In 2013 I studied at SAL Schule für Angewandte Linguistik to achieve the SVEB-certificate (Swiss Federation for Adult Learning). This certificate counts as a basic qualification in adult education to enable teachers in preparing, conducting and evaluating teaching events in the field of adult using set concepts, curricula and teaching materials. I continue to take courses to keep my know-how about methods and didactics up-to-date and maintain a high-quality standard in teaching German. Aside from that I have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.

During my studies for Business Administration I realized that my personal strength lies in the range of  intercultural social skills and communication. For me language is a passion and one of the basic elements to build bridges between cultures. In Ecuador and the US, I visited numerous language schools. Thanks to speaking the native language I had the pleasure to get to know the countries‘ people and their culture.
